CBR UNC All-Time Team
F/C Billy Cunningham (6′ 6″ 210 lbs.)
“Kangaroo Kid” averaged 24.8 points and 15.4 rebounds in career - One of best college basketball players of all-time. He also was a great NBA player and coach.
F James Worthy (6′ 9″ 225 lbs.)
National Player of the Year in ‘82 championship season when he averaged 14.5 points and 7.4 rebounds (numbers kind of low since Jordan and Perkins were on same team.)
F Lennie Rosenbluth (6′ 4″ 190 lbs.)
National Player of the Year on UNC’s 1957 NCAA Championship (perfect season- 32-0) - averaged 28 points and 8.8 rebounds that year.
G/F Michael Jordan (6′ 6″ 195 lbs.)
Key member on the 1982 NCAA Championship team - everyone remembers that big shot Jordan hit as a freshman against GTOWN in the Final.
G Ed Cota (6′ 0″ 200 lbs.)
Took UNC to three final fours. School’s all-time leader in assists with 1,030 (second best is Kenny Smith with 768). Wasn’t drafted in the NBA, but one of the best PG in college basketball history.
Reserves:
F Antawn Jamison (6′ 8″ 223 lbs.)
‘98 Player of the Year when he averaged 22.2 points and 10.5 rebounds per game - Always stepped up at home against Duke (averaged 30.3 points and 12 rebounds).

G Bob Lewis (6′ 3″ 175 lbs.)
Averaged 27.4 points as a junior in 1966 - then led UNC to Final Four in ‘67 - holds UNC record for most points in a game (49).
I really had a hard time putting this team together. I’m sure many UNC fans will be upset that I left off: Brad Daugherty, Tyler Hansbrough, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Brendan Haywood, J.R. Reid, Vince Carter, Kenny Smith, Rusty Clark, Sean May, Charles Scott, Raymond Felton, Bobby Jones, Kenny Smith, Larry Brown, Hubert Davis, Walter Davis, Rick Fox, Larry Miller and many more.
