C/F Zaid Abdul-Aziz (6′ 9″ 235 lbs.)
Abdul-Aziz averaged over 24 points a game in two straight seasons in the late 60s. For his career, he averaged more points and rebounds a game than any other played in ISU history. Career averages are 22.3 points and 13.7 rebounds a game. He also is the school’s second all-time leading rebounder.
F Marcus Fizer (6′ 9″ 262 lbs.)
Fizer averaged 22.8 points a game in ‘00. That season, he broke ISU’s single season record for points. He led the team in rebounding in ‘99 and ‘00. Fizer also led the BIG-12 in scoring in those seasons.
F/G Jeff Grayer (6′ 5″ 200 lbs.)
He averaged 25.3 points a game as a senior in ‘88. Grayer ended his career as the school’s all-time leading scorer. He is also fourth on the school’s all-time leading rebounding list. Grayer is fifth on school’s all-time steals list.
G Jeff Hornacek (6′ 3″ 190 lbs.)
Hornacek is the school’s all-time leader in assists and steals. He also holds the record for the best assist per game average in a single season (6.83). He also had 1,313 career points. Hornacek started his career at ISU as a walk-on.
G Jamaal Tinsley (6′ 3″ 195 lbs.)
Tinsely owns the single season records for assists and steals. Both records were set in the ‘99-00 season. In his career, he averaged more assists per game (6.34) and steals per game (2.60) than other player in ISU history. He is also one of the three players in school history to record a triple-double.

C/F Victor Alexander (6′ 9″ 265 lbs.)
Alexander averaged 23.4 points a game in ‘91 and is ISU’s fourth all-time leading scorer. He is also the school’s fifth all-time leading rebounder. He led his team in scoring, rebounding and blocks for three straight seasons. Alexander is only played in school history to shoot over 60-percent from the floor in his career.
G Fred Hoiberg (6′ 4″ 203 lbs.)
Hoiberg was one the more well-rounded players in school history. He is the school’s third all-time leading scorer. Hoiberg led his team in scoring, rebounding, steals in back-to-back seasons in the mid ’90s. He also led the team in assists during the ‘94 season.
G Hercle Ivy (N/A)
Ivy averaged 28.3 points a game in ‘75, which is an ISU record. For his career, he averaged 22.2 points a game and led the team in scoring for three straight seasons. He also led team in assists during the ‘76 season.
F Bill Cain (6′ 6″ N/A)
Cain averaged 15.2 rebounds a game in ‘70 while setting the school’s single season record that season. Cain also averaged 21.8 points and 13.5 rebounds in ‘69. Cain holds the school record for rebounds in a game.
C Kelvin Cato (6′ 11″ 255 lbs.)
Cato holds the school’s record for blocks in a season when he averaged 4.2 blocks a game in ‘97. Cato also led the team in rebounding in each of his two seasons at ISU.
