Unlike the other battles this championship week, that fight was broken up after some feelings were hurt during a mascot dance off. In the game, Oral Roberts defeated IUPUI 71-64.

As expected UNC-Asheville (23-9, 10-4 in conference) and Winthrop (22-11, 10-4 in conference) met in the Big South Tournament championship game.
